HEY, I'M BLAKE!
And I'm so grateful you're here! I'm a wife, mom x5, dog mom, and a little bit crazy. I'm super goofy, mostly laid back (unless you cheat in Uno), and always a little bit too caffeinated.
My obsession with documenting memories began in junior high, when I started carrying disposable cameras with me everywhere. I got my first digital camera from Santa in 7th grade, and my first DSLR in 2013 when I had my first baby.
What began as a desperate need to document my tiny love's quickly changing toes and nose, turned into discovering the only job I've ever had and didn't want to quit.
I can excitedly report thatI have figured out what I want to be when I grow up. & I don't take lightly the importance of documenting such significant pieces of others' story.

My photography style is whimsical, real, and joyful. My hope is to capture what your life FEELS like, not just what it looks like.
Cuz when your babes are grown and gone, you'll want to remember the hours spent waiting for them to put their own shoes on, the way their little bodies climbed all over you, they way you laughed together.

At our session, I will guide and prompt, observe and play, and experiment. And I will capture your story in a way that is authentic and timeless, romantic and poetic.

I offer location scouting (but my favorite location is your home!), outfit styling, and all kinds of session guidance, to bring your vision to life and tell your story in a way that is honest and real and magical.

Throughout your session, you can expect to laugh, play, run, tickle, dance, and feel genuinely joyful and relaxed while you spend time with your people.
I will guide and lead when needed, observe and experiment when possible. I will laugh and play with your tiny people, corral them, capture them, and enjoy them.
We won't stress about perfection, sitting still, or the beautiful chaos of children.

Where we turn your images into art— I will thoughtfully select and edit the best images from your session (typically 50+ photos per hour of shooting), and deliver them in an online gallery.
It typically takes 1-2 weeks to receive your full gallery, but may take a little bit longer during holiday season. If you need your images back sooner, please let me know when booking your session!
